Using illustrator I have been able to convert my logo idea into a digital form, I have made hardly any changes to the original first draft the only notable difference are the red stripes i have included representing the iconic barber pole, emphasising the logos purpose. Along with the logo I have added my previously allocated typeface I found on dafont called “little ricky” which corresponds well with the logo, giving it a stylish and authentic look. Since creating the logo I have established my primary colours for the re-brand to consist of red, white and black which will be incorporated throughout. As you can see the logo embodies the features of a Swiss army knife , my main inspiration for the design.
Colour Scheme
The array of colours below are the colour swatches I will be using throughout the project and will be featured on the business cards , logo , products and finally my leaflet. I have chosen the colour scheme below as it matches my desired style and helps emphasise and relates to a traditional barbers aesthetic.
